Shiny metal beads made from soda cans
I made this awhile ago and don't have any pictures for a how-to, but i can tell you how i did it...

I cut out the flat part of the can and folded the edges in so I didn't end up splitting my hand open, then cut the flat square into strips.

Fold in any more edges created (make sure the silver inside is now the outer "good side" of the bead), and begin to roll it up! continue with the rest of the metal until you get enough beads.

You can spray paint the beads now, or after they're on the thread, or not at all. I used black, and let it splatter a lot rather than going on even.

Thread your beads onto whatever you're going to use them for, and enjoy! Don't forget to tuck the knot under one of the beads.
