    Step 1

    I cut off the collar so I can wear it later with some cute collar chains <3

    lay shirt flat & cut across straight under the armpits

    Step 3

    Turn it inside out & pin for the hem :)
    Leave space for the garter to fit through

    Sew Sew Sew <3

    Step 5

    After you sew the hem - this part should still be open.
    Push the garter through
    I use a safety pin and try my best to push it through

    Sew the garter together when the two ends meet.
    Sew the opening shut :)

    Put it on <3

thanks so much. I went thrifting today. The shirt I got was a bit too small but I am going to try it out =]

Hi Hannahable!
You could try shopping around at a store or go thrifting & 'try the shirts on' by buttoning it up around your waste until one fits right with a good length.
Disregard the top 3 buttons or so since you'll cut the shirt across from the armpits Tongue
I hope you find one!

This is so cute! How large should the shirt be though? I plus size so I'm not sure what man's size would fit right.
