Make a Lucite table and fill it with goodies!
Take a few simple materials and create a Lucite table filled with everything from glitter to fake bills. It's up to you!

  • How to make a side table. Lucite Table - Step 1
    Step 1

    Coat your fake bills with Minwax Polycrylic.
    When they're dry, cut them out. You'll need about 30 of them.
    Remove the base from your TV tray table

    Step 2

    Prepare 2 cups of the Glaze Coat
    Pour equal parts in two plastic cups
    Stir in a separate container for 5 minutes!

    Step 3

    Pour the Glaze Coat Resin inside the acrylic box frame and spread evenly with a stick
    Carefully place your fake bills face down on the resin
    Insert the table base into the frame

    Mix another two cups of Glaze Coat
    Pour it in the frame and spread it evenly
    Cover the table with a cloth and let it cure overnight
    *Mine cured more quickly because
    of the heat outside

This looks like a fun and useful project.

Have marked is a favorite to try this some time in the future after I pick up a TV tray and an an acrylic frame at garage sale or thrift store.
