Feathery fun at it's best!
From football lights to feathers, I made these lights because I love feathers and have recently developed a fetish for fairy lights ;)

    Step 1

Grab all your supplies - elastic string, feathers, lights

    Step 2

Ok so take of the current decor of your lights (if they're plain then that's great) but if like me you have ones with footballs or other plastic covers on them then TAKE THEM OFF. if you just twist and pull they should come off easily.
and the sound they make when they come of is like a little 'pop!' ;D

    Step 3

If you don't like the look of bare wires or have a long length of colourful ribbon lying around then now's the time to use it. wrap it around the wires all the way down as far as you want it to go. You could even alternate between colours!

  • Step 4

Now we need the feathers. Take about 5 feathers and place then around the light and hold them in place. Now you can either use a glue gun or use elastic string. Take the elastic string and wind it around the feathers three times making sure that all the feathers are within the string. then tie a double knot.
(on the video I used my scisors because I made the vid after I made the lights. but it's the same concept just you wrap the elastic around the base of the light)

Do this to the rest of the lights and you're done :D

    Now where to put them.......
