How To Make An Owl With Polyester Cords

Everyone knows owl very much. It looks like a cat. Do you know how to make an owl with floss? If not, please come with me and make diy owl.

The constitution of diy owl looks so complicated, but it is not like this. As long as you can make some kind of knots and repeated the steps, how to make an owl will be an easy work. Now, let me show you the whole steps.

  1. Step 1 1

Get 2 cords in 10cm relatively, fix them with pins. Tie 8 rows of Lark’s head knots.

  2. Step 2 2

Pull the left-most and right-most cords toward the center to tie double half hitches orderly.

  3. Step 3 3

Regard the two cords in the most middle as a holding axis, tie 4 pairs of square knots with the two cords beside the axis. Tie 6 pairs of Lark’s head knots relatively with the most left and most right cords. Roll the square knots in the middle toward upper and thread them down, tie a pair of square again.

  4. Step 4 4

    Thread the beads
Thread the black beads as eyeballs on the 2 yellow cords respectively; pull the 2 cords in the middle toward each side as a holding axis, use the remaining 7 cords to make double half hitches revolve the axis. Repeat the work until there are 5 rows of double half hitches.

  5. Step 5 5

    add flosses
Add one piece of cord in about 40cm long on each side relatively. Pull the added cords on both sides into 2 parts with different size respectively. Treat the short one as the axis; use the long one to make 10 pairs of Lark’s head knots on every side. Cross the 2 cords in the most middle, take the 2 as axises, knit 2 rows of double half hitches in total. There are 6 rows of double half hitches on each side.

  6. Step 6 6

Tie up the two sides with thin cords. Cut off the remaining cords. Add two transparent beads as eyes.
