I got my hose clamp from an old shed so I had to clean it first. Then I estimated about the length of ribbon I would need.

Then I started weaving the ribbon through the holes. Then glue the rest of the ribbon straight down on the metal

Glue the ends of the ribbon back where you eaved it. This makes it easier to adjust the clamp to fit your wrist.
