Hand-made jewelry for your ears.
These were made to support my PC hard drive hoops
(http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/retro-pc-hard-drive-earrings-2).
The process took four days to perfection.

  • How to make a plug earring. Hand Made Cork Plugs 0g - Step 1
    Step 1

This gives the end a nice effect and slightly magnifies the cork within the polyurethane. I think it's very pretty looking. I removed the wire on the fourth day and smoothed the ends as much as I could.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, this listing used to have all the steps, and recently they have gone missing on more than one of my projects... now I have to hunt down all the pictures again!

Actually, gauged IS a word.
Gauged: past participle, past tense of gauge
Also "To adapt to a specified measurement."
The object is a plug. The size of the hole in the ear is the gauge. I have gauged the plug, and the hole in my ear, as a means of measurement.
Personally I'm not one to get my panties in an absolute bunch over a word. Thanks for visiting!
