Step 1Cut a piece of felt (Doubled up) into the chosen letter or shape.
Sew around the letter/shape in blanket stitch - I chose a contrasting cotton so it stood out. -
Step 2Pick your ribbon - ideally one that isn't thin and wont crease.
Sew a button on to the end of the ribbon - this acts as a light weight to keep the ribbon straight when hanging.
I chose to double this button up - so it was neat on both sides. -
Step 3Attach the ribbons to the felt letter - covering any joins with another button.
1 to hang up and 1 to put the clips on.
I'm sure this could have been done within the letter layers but I didn't choose to do it like that. -
Step 4Hang up and then add your hair clips!
