Step 1Sand down an old table to give a good key for the new paint. You'll want to thoroughly wipe it down when you're finished, so no dust remains.

Step 2Paint the table in one flat colour first. You may need to sand the table in-between coats if any texture appears in the paint.

Step 3Apply masking tape over the top of the table in a random way, creating geometric shapes.

Step 4Paint over the masking tape in a separate colour and once dry, peel back the tape.

Step 5Once done, you should have a quirky and cool tabletop that's completely transformed your piece of furniture!
