I'm not an artist so I painted a blue background on the vamp of the shoe with acrylic paint and decoupaged the rest of my scene using paper.

NOTE: The only thing I had to purchase was the laser clip art. Laser,so the clip art would have less tendency to bleed while being decoupaged.
Everything else I had in my craft stash.

My shoes had a short life span not because they got wet but from where my foot bends on top of the shoe. It was still a worthwhile experience.

Any suggestions on what I could do to perfect this idea are welcomed.
