  1. Step 1

Pre-wash and dry your t-shirt without fabric softener.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Print the stencil on freezer paper, making sure it prints on the flat side and not the shiny one.

  3. Step 3

Use the X Acto Knife and cutting mat to cut out the lettering on the stencil. Make sure to keep the little pieces that go inside of letters, as you'll need to iron those on, too!

  4. Step 4

Iron the stencil onto the t-shirt, taking care that all of the little pieces are in place firmly.

  5. Step 5

Put a piece of newspaper inside of the t-shirt and lay it on a flat work surface.

  6. Step 6

Using the foam brush and fabric paint, fill in the stencil. If you are using glitter, you'll want to shake it on as soon as you finish with the paint so that it will stick!

  7. Step 7

Allow to set up for a few minutes, then carefully peel the stencil off of the t-shirt. Use the X Acto Knife to remove the little bits.

  8. Step 8

Follow the fabric paint manufacturer's instructions on drying time and washing, and enjoy being an Elvendork!
