Brightens up every party!

I've seen garlands like this before and I had lots of pretty fabrics and ribbons lying around. So I made this one for my niece Anna. She can use it for years. Or maybe I'll keep it myself, I think it's pretty.

(I ran out of bias tape so it's not finished yet. That's why not all of them are attached)

Crafts

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

Gather lots of pretty fabrics and ribbons.

  2. Step 2 2

Cut out triangles this way to get the most out of the fabric. You can draw on the back of the fabric.

  3. Step 3 3

Place 3-4 layers of fabric on each other and cut out the triangles. Make sure you pin the fabric to prevent shifting.

Cut out as many as you want and iron them before continuing if they are crinckled.

  4. Step 4 4

Now for the fun part: decorate some, lots or even all of them with ribbons and stuff.

  5. Step 5 5

And the rather boring part: zig-zagging the sides to keep them from fraying.

You don't have to zigzag the top.

  6. Step 6 6

Finaly, sew all your pieces on a ribbon or bais tape.

  7. Step 7 7

    And you're done.
