Herbs gonna herb.

I wanted to start growing my own herbs this spring and needed an easy way to dry them.

Instructions

  1. 1

I used 2 of Boyfriend's hangers from the dry cleaner. These have the cardboard sleeve on them.

I cut the hanging part off one of the hangers, crossed the hangers together in a cross shape and taped them together.

I used electric tape because it is strong and covers the rough edges of the cut wire.

  2. 2

I used eyelets from a collection of picture hanger kits that have accrued over the years.

I twisted them into the cardboard sleeve. This was the hardest part, depending on the size of the eyelets and how nibble your fingers are.

  3. 3

I then took the flowers that Boyfriend send for Valentine's Day,(why does it seem that Valentine's Day flowers last the shortest amount of time??)tied left over kite string to them and the other end to the eyelets.

Take care that the eyelets are far enough apart as to prevent tangling. I also hung the flowers at different lengths to avoid the flowers rubbing up against each other.
