Drawstring Colar Dress

Toddler dress with a drawstring neck.
This was a simple test dress that I did for my daughter (who decided that even though she LOVES taking pictures didn't want to sit for a nice one for me. :) )I used a piece of scrap fabric that was about twice her width at the chest and flared out a bit at the bottom and sewed in the pocket for the ribbon and it slipped on. I do have to figure out a way to keep the ribbon from coming out when I put it on and take it off of her. I think the simplest solution would be for me to simply use a longer ribbon.
