Chain 5

Put your crochet hook through the first hole

You probably can tell but there is a
hole in the middle of it :)

Chain 3

Now 15 double crochets in the middle

It helps if you crochet over the tail also; If you want to pull the circle tight at the end

Connect where you chained 3 (step 4) it should be right by the first double

Pull the yarn through

Chain 2

Now this is when it gets a little hard;

In the first hole crochet 1 single, 1 half double, and 1 double

(all in the same hole)

(must be in that order for the first part)

You have created half the pedal

Now to make the other half; in the hole right next to the other half of the pedal crochet 1 double, 1 half double, 1 single

(must be in this order)
(all in the same hole)

In the hole right next to that one put the hook through, pull the yarn through and pull it tight to keep the pedal down

Repeat steps 8-10 until you have made 5 pedals

Repeat steps 1-4

But crochet 15 singles in the middle instead of doubles

To do the first part of the pedal do what you did in steps 8-10 put do the crochets in this order

1single, 1 half double both in the same hole.

For the other half of the pedal

in the next hole 1 half double, 1 single

like you where doing before

5 pedals all around

Hot glue a bobby pin in the back of it if you want to make it into a hair clip
