Cute and fun little robin red-breast!
Relatively simple to sew - makes a fabulous stocking filler.
Based on a design by paper-and-string.

    Step 1

    Cut two of A in light brown felt to make the robin's body.
    Cut one of B in red felt to make the breast.
    Cut two of C for the legs and feet.
    Cut one of D for the beak.
    The scale is up to you, but I'd say a good size would be to fit him in the palm of your hand.

    Stitch B on one layer of A in backstitch.

    Sew on little assorted red buttons.

    Stitch on D in backstitch, position as a beak. Use black brads or seed beads for the eyes.

    Step 5

    Sew on the other layer of A in backstitch close to the edges. Sew a small length of folded ribbon for a hanger and the two C's for legs as you work your way around. Make sure you leave a small gap to stuff your robin, then sew up the hole.
