Use a hanging plant basket to make a cute light fixture!
Really easy, and it cost about 12 bucks. I needed a light for my room but didn't wanna spend a bunch on a fixture, found this cute hanging basket at walmart and added some parchment paper, and wallah! <3

  • Step 1

Gather the items shown at the top.

  • Step 2

Cut out pie shaped pieces of parchment paper, make sure they are a little bigger than the hole, they can overlap on the inside. (Note: use pencil or light writing utensil to draw the shape, otherwise it will show through the other-side if any sides show!)

  • Step 3

Once you get all of them cut out, use hot glue to fasten them down on the inside, like I said above, overlapping is okay!

  • Step 4

The previous light fixture I had, had holes in the black part, it had a chain, so I just took the hooks and modified them to fit into the existing holes. I also had to take off some links to make it shorter.

  • Step 5

Hang it and your finished, TaDa!
