I'm originally from Atlanta and learned how to sew when I was a small child. School kept me from doing too much until recently. I sew pretty much all the time now... until I go back to school in January. I'm a chemical engineering major with an applied math minor and will graduate someday. My specialty is in fluid mechanics. Being bipolar has slowed my progress considerably, but I'm hopeful. I have a diploma in carpentry and make furniture. Next semester I want to take a sculpture class which will be fun. I live with my bf, gf, and our three cats. I have a brother who teaches high school math and my father is about to finish his history degree and wants to go to grad school. As a plumbing contractor, he was one of the many who lost their companies when the housing market collapsed. After I get my mountain of student loan debt paid off (as well as the rest of the family's), and we buy a house, I'm going to retire (should be around 40) and do clothes making and woodworking full-time. It'll be fantastic.
