    first draw this shape, and cut it out.

    You'll need 6 of them, so I made two chains of 3 on thick green paper. (thicker paper will work best!)

    Now, draw 6 rectangles and cut them out (not all separate, but as one piece!)

    Fold on the lines, and connect the ends. Now you should have something that looks like this.

    Make a card that's wide enough, so the edges of the carousel won't come out when the card is closed. Your card simply needs to be wider than the part shown on the photo.

    Attach the centre of the carousel to the middle of your card by using two leftovers of paper. You only have to attach it on two sides: the ones parallel to the fold of the card.

    Attach both of the green parts to each other, and secure them to the card (also with two pieces of leftover paper!) Test the card to make sure everything fits right.

    Now cut out a triangle (one side has to be the exact length of one green part)

    Use the triangle to make this shape which will be the roof.

    Also attach two pieces of paper to two opposite triangles.

    Secure to the green parts.

    Now find a small picture (or draw) a horse, so you can use it as a silhoutte for the 6 horses you'll need. Glue them to the carousel, and decorate the whole thing the way you like!

Hey Yizzimindi, I actually found a picture of a carousel pop up card, but I couldn't find a tutorial on how to make one. So I just tried and tried until it looked quite similar to the picture I had Happy Of course I don't mind if you'd sell cards based on this tutorial Happy Get crafty & have fun!! Xx

Where did you get this idea? It's great, if I make cards that are different, but use this as a guide, is it ok if I sell them?
