Step 1Melt the milk, butter & caramels together in a pot.
Allow to melt completely & mix together.

Step 2Add 4 cups of coconut & stir through.
Add the additional coconut to form a dryish mixture ( not too sloppy).

Step 3Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture & allow to cool.

Step 4Melt chocolate.
Dip the base of the macaroons into the chocolate.
Allow to set.

Step 5Sprinkle the top of the macaroons with chocolate.

Step 6Serve.
