Blobs are one of my favorite things to knit! They're a great project to make with leftover yarn.
The blobs were inspired when Jake Romano (my graphic designer) saw one of my unfinished projects, which was just a little white blob with eyes, and requested that I make him one in orange. The next thing, all our friends had to have one!

They're simple, squishy, and fun to make! Perfect as a desk buddy or stress ball. Makes a good first project if you're just learning how to knit in the round.
