I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures, as I did this very late at night. I hope the MSPaint drawings will suffice!

Lace and beading is optional.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Cut out your pieces of fabric and lace. Also get your ribbon or elastic out (enough to tie behind your head or to keep it on).

One piece of fabric is a normal square, while the other one has a slit in the middle. This allows you to turn it inside out and sew up without leaving a visible seam.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Place fabric right sides facing in, and sandwich it with the lace facing in.

    Sew along the red lines.
I used a blanket stitch and a back stitch to make sure it wouldn't rip.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Remember the slit I told you to cut?
    Pull everything right side out.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    This step is optional.
Sew on the beads in any pattern you'd like.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

On the back side, sew on your ribbon or elastic in opposite corners, and sew up the slit.

See Step 6 for what mine looks like.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Mine is messed up because I wasn't paying attention when I did the beading.

  7. Step 7

    VOICI and/or VOILA! (:
