Handle the end with the buckle and wrap the belt around your wrist to get the circumference. Get creative! — We’re going with a double-wrap.

Mark the centre with a small cross. Remember to give it some allowance!

    Step 4

Leave about 3cm (or whatever desired length) and snip it off with a pair of scissors. You should now have what looks like a very short belt. Ours measured 16″ but don’t worry if yours is shorter/longer.

    Step 5

Using the cross you just drew as a guide, make a hole in the centre of the belt with a leather punch. The buckle will now fit through here instead.

I have an old Ed Hardy belt that doesn't fit me anymore...and I'm too selfish to give it to my sister, so...I'm gonna turn it into a bracelet! Thanks!!! :)

@eden a. You can get leather punches at equine stores. They are used for making holes in stirrup leathers. Happy making xx

I love these. I bought belts for $1 each at the thrift store. Now I have a bunch of these bracelets. Thanks so much!

danielle L. Here's my version, I just didn't make it a version of this project because it was my own idea and it's with studs:
