reverse applique boys t-shirt design
i made this t-shirt for my boy who loves to fish. this would make a great gift for a boy or guy in your life.
you can use my stencil design (from my shop) or one of your own.

You Will Need

Step 1transfer stencil pattern to freezer paper. cut away negative space. transfer design to t-shirt using mark b-gone (could also use fabric paint or permanent marker to apply stencil).

Step 2turn shirt inside out and use safety pins to pin scrap of jersey fabric (right side down) to the inside of the t-shirt.
turn back right side out and using a running stitch stitch along your marked lines. -
Step 3turn back inside out and remove the safety pins. trim away excess jersey.

Step 4trim out the negative space on the top t-shirt cutting the material 1/4 of an inch inside of your stitching. be careful not to cut the under layer of jersey fabric.
