-

Cut a rectangle of fabric, aprox 8" by 10".
-

Pin two 10" strips of ribbon on either side of the fabric.
-

Fold the fabric in half so that the bottom, wrong side, of the fabric is facing out and sew along the open edge of the fabric.
-

Fold inside out so that the right side of the fabric is facing out and sew along one of the ribbon edges.
-

Fill the open edge with dried flowers, lavender or potpourri.
-

Sew up the final open edge. You're pouch is starting to look complete.
-

Use a hammer to crush down the content of the pouch, making it flatter and easier to rest on your eyes.

Yes, you could use potpouri, aslong as the smell is not too strong for your liking. You wouldn't be able to use string instead of wax, as it wouldn't burn correctly.

I made one of these before. I used lavender, and because fresh lavender is so expensive, I mixed it with flax seed. I've also been told to use rice as a filler. It still smells good, you just don't have to use so much of the expensive stuff. ^_^
