This shirt looked too much like a mans shirt - and I felt like I was being slowly strangled while wearing it - but it's nice and comfortable everywhere else, so I made it more "womanly"
1
Start with your t-shirt (I got this one ages ago at a secondhand shop for a couple of dollars) and work out where you want your neck line to be. I put mine on and used a fabric marker in front of a mirror to eyeball it
2
Using my Pinking Shears, I cut the neck out and I've chosen to alter the sleeves aswell, so off with them !
3
I zigzag stitched around where I'd cut to give it a slightly scolloped and raw looking edge
4
I then pinned elastic (I used 6mm Braided Elastic) around the arms and neck - again I eyeballed it to get a slightly ruffled look
5
Ta Daa ! New look for my previously shapeless t-shirt
