Feminist Cross-Stitch
This take on the traditional (and outdated) saying “a woman’s place is in the home” was one of the first feminist cross-stitch designs I created. I carried a blown-up version of this piece on a poster at the Women’s March in Chicago in January 2017. I see it as a message to keep working for equality, regardless of where that work may take you.
