Trying to lose weight and it sucks!

WHAT IS PCOS?
Any time you eat something you did not make yourself check the wrapper. If it has more than .5 g of saturated fat do not eat it. Even if the wrapper says 2 calories 2 g of saturated fat just made your calories useless!

My weight range is supposed to be 125 to 145 and I used to weigh 160, so we had about the same amount of extra to lose to get comfy.... I got really sick two years ago and now I weigh 110 lbs and I can't gain weight, I look like skelator and I am SURE (even without the Dr.) that I am allergic to preservatives that manufacturers put into packaged food i.e. saturated fats. I make all my own food now (even bread!) and have a small small small list of (packaged) food that I can eat. It's a struggle everyday to find food (that I don't have to cook) that I can eat. I starve a lot!!!! Any-who...... it is saturated fat that makes diets null and void, good luck
IDK if that helped but NO SATURATED!!!!! so important.

I also have a tilted uterus and my husband and I looked at each other with baby on our mind and BAM 3 weeks later guess who is sweating bullets and about to tear apart faces...lol I think all the "struggles" that the media and doctors put out there make it really hard for a person mentally to let their guard down and just let things happen. I actually have this weird sort of underdeveloped hip, I literally have two different sized hips, not the leg the hip is shorter ( I stand crooked) It is what caused me (says chiropractor) to have a breech birth so i had to have a c-section. That was hard I never even phathomed not being able to have a natural birth (not because of all the other terror they put in you) because of some crooked hips.... Pray for baby eat your own food and don't stop having sex! LOL Good sex= good cardio.
I just hope everything works out for you, AND every one else on here too. I am looking up PCOS too.

I don't know if natural birth will be an option for me when I decide to have kids. My uterus is septated, so I have a septum right smack-in-the-middle of the opening. I'm sure it's something I can have corrected via surgery, but I don't want to have kids until I'm closer to 30 and I'm 22 now. I'll wait. lol

As for PCOS, it's still proving to be an issue with weight loss... and it's been causing a lot of anxiety for me as well. I've been losing a tiny bit here and there, but I'm hoping to lose at least 5 more before the end of January. Since I had my Mirena taken out, it's taken me until just a few days ago to get onto a more normal cycle--I don't think having lady time twice a month was helping me lose weight. Now it's finally back down to once a month, or so it seems so far, so I'm starting to feel better.

Having two different sized hips would be too much for me on top of everything else--you're strong as hell to be able to put up with that.

I'm with you in the needing to lose weight Monika- now that I've had baby I desperatly want to get out of maternity clothes and back into regular clothes! Alas, I had a c-section so recovery is slow going and there's not much I can do as far as excersise is concerned. I'm just trying to do simple cardio right now, walking and dancing with the baby mostly. I can't count caleries or watch what I eat because I'm nursing so I need to eat about as much (although not as much) as I did when I was pregnant because baby is eating every 2 hours. I was losing weight from nursing alone the first few weeks but then I put the weight I had started to lose (from nursing) back on so it's really annoying. The whole, "nursing makes you lose the weight faster," is a myth. But I've discovered, women are all a bunch of liars, everything every woman has ever told me about childbirth and nursing has been total BS. But I digress.

Lol, that's good info for the future.
Most of my time has been dedicated to school since Midterms so trying to exercise just expends energy I don't have. I still ride by bike every other day which makes me feel good. I've also felt some larger cysts around my left ovary, but they've all mostly gone now. I'm hoping the winter will stay mild so I can finally catch up on exercise.

I lost 40lbs this year from doing just what you are, our diet is different though. Don't cut too many calories though : ) Supplements are a waste of money. Whole foods are the best thing for your body.
and hey you are losing, slow but sure. I was frustrated at the 5lb loss mark but before I knew I was at my goal. You can and are doing it!!!
Here's a pic of me at 177lbs. I'm now maintaining between 135-138.
