I got a poorly girlie :(

My daughter's 2 and started nursery this week as i got a job. she had fun the first day and yesterday was her 2nd day. at like 4am this morning she was in our bed (as when shewakes up in the night she always ends up in our bed) and suddenly puked EVERYWHERE Happy i had my partner sort her out (i'm really not good at dealing with sick)
so when she was cleaned upwe put her in her bed and she was sick everywhere again, and has kept on being sick all night (luckily she's learnt to do it in the bucket). i rangthe nursery and they said there's a bug been going round and a few kids have been off with it.
i feel so sorry for her, she keeps asking for her bottle and saying she's hungry too but we've got drs in half hour so would rather wait to see what he says 1st.
She's never been ill other than colds before now Happy

That really sucks but I would give her a bottle or something to help her out. Most doctors agree that starving a flu bug or any throwing up illness is bad. I've actually had a doctor tell me to eat every time I throw up. I don't actually do that because its gross but I don't go without food- I eat whenever I'm hungry without caring if I'm going to get sick later. I hope your little girl feels better soon.

Maybe just some water before the doctor. You need to keep her hydrated, puking can take that away.

Give her some sugar water (: warm water in a bottle shaken up with sugar . I knoe it sounds realllyyy sweeet. But i honestly swear by it. It really perks them up.

Aw sick babies are so so sad! Get her to sleep as much as possible the body heals faster when it gets plenty of rest and fluids but if she cant hold anything down best to wait 24 hours when the bug clears and she (hopefully) stops throwing up. Just cuddle with her and DRINK LOTS OF FLUIDS YOURSELF so you flush any germs you may catch out of your system also orange juice and cranberry juicde make your immune system very strong and you can hopefully dodge the sickness yourself! Good luck!

she's ok today now Happy must've been a 24 hour thing....BUT my partners just come home now and he's really not well Happy he usually cant pukeeven if he tries (only ever been sick twice in his life) so it must be bad to make him sick. Happy looks like its making it's way through the house too :/ i'm staying out of his way tonight as i've only just started my new job this week so don't faancy phoning in sick already!

I hate it when the kids get sick because I always catch it! My husband never gets sick, aside from his acid reflux.
