Nude-ness :(

I think if someone wants to be naked theres really no reason to stop them.
if you dont feel comfortable with it then just look away. people need to stop trying to make others conform to their beleifs.

People can be naked if they want to be but there are places for those who don't mind showing their goods.
It's not about beliefs, it's about respecting others. I don't know where you live Summer, but there is such a thing as indecent exposure that comes with some criminal charges and there are things that some people and children shouldn't see. If people want to be naked then fine, but do it so that it's not breaking the law or grossing out others.

The sad thing about it all is that it doesn't gross everyone out, think about the pervy men that might have leered at her, she could be the most kind and intelligent women but that's not what they will see, it kind of demeans her. I definatly agree with Squizita's statement.

Like Creativemind said, it's not about conforming everyone to have the same beliefs but its about showing respect to others and to a point respect for herself, she probably had some idea that people would be able to see...

I have serious uti problems, and my husband told me that not wearing underwear would help. he was right(: however, that's usually just at home or if I go out in pants. The skirt thing... I remember in my mother's generation and when I was coming of age, we wore panty hose... which were nude, anyway!!! crack me up. yeah if one is on a bike, one should shield others from such view (; anyway, sounds to me like this is someone who just does not care what people think. we see women wearing thongs showing them off in back. maybe she is someone who thinks everyone thinks like she does... like it does not matter. but really? in the entire scheme of things, is it so important? we could just look away. maybe she's just looking for attention, anyway. ~ peace<3 and crafts!~ have an enjoyable day(;

Yeah, you're right about the perverted people out there too that it doesn't bother, so I know it doesn't gross "everyone" (notice I said others). She can attract unwanted and dangerous attention to herself, not to say it's her fault, because no one has the right to violate any one in any way, but she is putting it out there for people to see. If she's going without underwear with a short skirt, plus shes on a bicycle, seems to mean she knew exactly what she was doing and want people to see. And no it's not really that important to a degree because thank goodness for most of us that have respect for others and ourselves, we don't go out exposing private parts in public, but still, if this happened in a park where there are children or some place like that, do you know the uproar that could possibly cause with parents shielding innocent eyes? And for the record from the posts here, not every body thinks like she does so apparently it does matter.

Going commando is fine in my view but you don't go cycling around in a short skirt unless you want people to see everything. I may be being a tad cynical but it sounds like that particular women wanted people to look at her. Noone reaches maturity and has that little self awareness unless they are unwell. I also think there is subtle a difference between being uninhibited and comfortable in your skin and being an exhibitionist. I think a lot of it is how you carry yourself and about getting clothes that fit you well. I'm pretty inhibited with my body but I tend to see that has an issue of personal baggage and would like to be more happy with the wobbly bits.

The thought of riding a bike with no panties.......the only thing I can think is OUCH!
That girl must really wanted to have been an exhibitionist ;D

Eewww .... sorry, but that's the first thing that springs to mind. Over here (NZ) there is a former All Black and TV presenter who promotes a "national nude day" each year as a bit of a joke, usually it's Uni students who take part and do some crazy nude stunt on the day. Anyway, one year my friend and I were travelling around the South Island and happened to be in Dunedin (lots of students) on nude day, we stopped at a money machine and while I was getting cash out I noticed my friend laughing from a distance and other people staring, I turned around to see a fully naked man standing right behind me waiting to use the money machine. OMG! Talk about giving me a shock (and so awkward) . Also that year it is was in May which is our autumn/early winter here so the guy must have been freezing!

Hey Lolly Bot, yeah I think I froze for a second and just took it in as it was so out of the ordinary, then realised I was staring at a naked guy and got embarrassed and walked away. Haha ... it's funny now but at the time I just felt really uncomfortable. Considering how cold it was I don't know if there would have been much for me to see if I had looked down! LOL Happy

I used to work night shift at a hotel. One night this girl (early 20's) came in and asked to use the bathroom. She had peed all over herself and there was a big wet spot from the top of her jeans to the bottom of the legs. Me, being an innocent type person, didn't realize that she was drunk out of her mind. I thought the poor thing was sick. Next thing I know, she comes prancing out of the bathroom like it's no big deal and walks (bottom half) completely naked through my lobby.

I couldn't help but stare the whole time she was walking out and as I looked up, trying to comprehend if what I'd just seen was real or not, I caught the eye of another guest who had been relaxing in the lobby. He and I just stared at each other like, "did you see that?". It was so funny, but a bit embarrassing too.

This is why I don't drink. lol
