Just saw Get Smart tonight. It was great. Very much respectful of the old show, but still very modern.

Broken Flowers is pretty bad. Although I guess it depends what you like... If you like stilted acting and films without endings, go for it.

We've been watching Nosferatu, House Of Dracula and Bram Stoker's Dracula in media. And actually, I think Nosferatu is the best. We haven't seen much of House Of Dracula yet, he hasn't even been all vampirey yet but Christopher Lee is pretty awesome. Bram Stoker's sucks. The beginning made it look SO good but it's actually rubbish. Keanu Reeves can't do an English accent, Winona Ryder was surprisingly bad, Gary Oldman is attractive but boring and not a whole lot has happened so far to be honest. It's all too...obvious. Dracula's only scary cause he looks so old and keeps pulling out swords on people. Nosferatu, now that's a film. It genuinely terrified me. When Hutter looks out of the door to see Nosferatu standing outside, staring, and then the horrific way he walks in slowly, not blinking. And the fact that you don't quite see anything *shudder*

Incidentally, I found out something interesting about the film Nosferatu. Max Shrek wanted to play Nosferatu, but the director Murnau said he wasn't right for it, so Shrek went away, cut the top of his ears into points and cut his nostrils off to make his nose narrower. He put on all the makeup and the outfit and went to Murnau again, who hired them. But when they were filming, Shrek never slept where he was meant to; he would appear in the morning and say he'd spent the night in a cave, hunting for his own food. And when they finished filming, Shrek disappeared and was never seen again. It makes the whole film so much scarier!

lolz at Bram Stocker's Dracula, uurgh wwhyyy did we watch that the bit with the wolf and the girl :/ I only like Winona Ryder in Girl Interrupted cuz she always sounds like she's going to cry and so that role suits it, 'have you ever stolen something when you have the cash?' mm have you Winona have you!? haha

I watched Hallam Foe yesterday, uuuummm bit weird but alright.

I loved Hallam Foe! It's nuts. I read an interview with Jamie Bell in Dazed and Confused and thought he was fantastic so went to see that film, but he said in the interview that he didn't want to do another blockbuster, then did Jumper. Letdown!

There's a bit with a wolf and a girl? That sounds ominous...

I like Winona Ryder in Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice. Maybe she got worse as she grew up. She just seemed like a cross between Keira Knightly and Daniel Radcliffe. Eew.

haahahahaha I need to watch Edward Scissorhands, I watched it once when I was little but it really scared me I remember screaming when he touched the boys face on the pathment and his face bled, even though he was trying to comfort him lol

(double posting cuz it won't let me edit!)

Speaking of Dan Radcliffe I watched some of Order of the Pheonix the other night and my god he 'delivers' some of his lines terribly! Act for gods sake! Emma Watson is worse uurgh you don't have to bounce your eyebrows up and down for every sylable in the line!

Yeah they're both terrible. Rupert Grint is awesome though, but not enough to make me watch the films haha

Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice are two of favourite films!

Daniel Radcliffe was in a film I watched called The December Boys, it was alright but his acting was much better AND he was doing an Aussie accent. Not bad.

oo yeh I saw adverts for that looks pretty good. I suppose the kids won't notice bad acting. Rupert Grint is awesome yes!!! I like watching the films it was the films that made me want to read the book, well the first film anyway the 1st and 2nd are really good though.

Speaking of Potters, I watched Miss Potter the other day but didn't finish watching it seen it before though, I really like it I like the whole atomosphere and era.

I started watching Rainman the other week and still have to finish it I keep forgetting but it looks good!

My mum just put on Sweeny Todd and said 'Why are they singing?'

You know that bit at the masquerade ball did the judge erm..assalt Mrs Todd? I've only just realised that maybe that's why she seemed so scared and was screaming.
