What was the last movie you watched?

I watched Hostel 2 last night.. it was not so good. I just don't find them scary at all, yes they are pretty gross, but that's about it. Also the spa scene, that was filmed here(in Iceland) in the Blue Lagoon Happy I hope he doesn't make another one.

I enjoyed Ghost Rider as well but not as much as you, i'm guessing lol. Lots of action (which is probably what kept me awake) but the acting was awful!! Its weird because not everyone in it would be considered a bad actor outside of this movie. I guess it was just the script? I just thought it could have been better.

I thought Ghost Rider was so bad.. Nicholas Cage was just atrocious! arghh He just acts way too much!
I really wanted to see Death Proof in the cinema, but now it's gone, I would have loved to see the two films together Happy it sucked they split them up just because the "american audiences" didn't seem to enjoy them.. grr

Tonight I watched "Bug" a great psychological thriller.. if you go to see it, avoid any advertisements about it.. thats the best way to see it.
Also "Once" which I already mentioned in the other thread. Go see it if it's in a theatre near you.

Tonight I watched "Eyes without a Face" or "Les Yeux Sans Visage" again. It's an old French movie from the 60's but its really interesting. And creepy. Here's the plot summary:

A brilliant surgeon, Dr. Génessier, helped by his assistant Louise, kidnaps nice young women. He removes their faces and tries to graft them onto the head on his beloved daughter Christiane, whose face has been entirely spoiled in a car crash. All the experiments fail, and the victims die, but Génessier keeps trying...

It might sounds kind of corny but I loved it. Theres a lot of screaming involved, its kind of quiet, and its also subtitled so if its not your cup of tea... that's fine. I watch a lot of silent films and old movies on TCM. Its an amazing network so check it out!

Juno here too.

EVERYBODY MUST SEE IT.

I enjoyed Juno, but there was way too much hype about it. I generally hate that when I see a film because it usually never lives up to it..

I watched The Diving Bell and the Butterfly a French film, it was filmed so beautifully and it was a sad story.

Luckily I know someone who works for Cineworld magazine and he saw Juno way before it was out. He let me know that while it's REALLY good, it's not five stars, so I wasn't expecting too much.

I'm going to see it again tomorrow =)
