Yeah, glue guns can be very dangerous. Has anyone ever sewn a huge chuck of something, then realize your bobbin ran out 3 stitches from were you started? Yup, I have!

That's why I'm scared of glue guns, I couldn't bare to use one. I'm stil fairly new to crafting and have only made a few things, so I haven't had any disasters but when I do you can be sure it will be shared.

Yes! I hate that. That's why my fave sewing quote is "May your bobbin always be full!"

OOh or when your thread comes out of the needle and you don't notice until you think you are done. Blech!

ouch Cat

Kennedy I do my own waxing, it hurts, but I buy the pre packaged wax strips, just rub to warm-apply-and pull quick

ummm I hate it when I stick a needle in the couch and then can't find it, then sit on it

I hate it when I try to make a pair of something and they should be identical... Well, I am terrible at measuring so one is always off!

Or getting fabric stuck inside of my sewing machine. I still can't use it because the machine broke or something due to it Happy

I am the glue gun QUEEN, I use it all the time. Once you burn yourself a couple a times your fingers become numb and you don't feel much of anything anymore. LOL j.k.

Michelle, I have the worst time losing needles in my bed. I have a pin cushion sitting right next to me at all times but for some reason I always stick the needle either on my pants or in my bed. I've literally lost 3 needles once sewing only ONE item. I really don't know how I do it....it's ridiculous really...

Kira, I do the same thing! I made a special pincushion just for me, and they still end up in my bed!!! i had one sticking up from my mattress once, and i had slept on it all night! haha!! Definately would've failed that test from the princess and the pea!

Glueguns are always a joy...but once i burn the crap out of myself a few times, i just switch fingers. hahaha!

My sewing machine ticks me off so often, that i've taken to sewing by hand. I like it when I'm trying to sew something, and it jams, but there's thread everywhere, and you have to take it apart to rethread the bobbin and all that crap. RAWR RAWR.

The one thing that REALLY ticked me off, though - well i thought it was humorous, but i was sad.... I made this REALLY cute pair of earrings - it was Shippo from Inuyasha's warning mushrooms. BUT! It was sculpting clay (not meant to be baked obviously) so when i took out my earrings, they were big kawaii splats. Hahaha.

I love my glue gun, I burn my fingers all the time and get glue sometimes where it shouldn't go but I do love it, one of my best crafty buys ever, I could never get mad with it!!

I hate the bobbin running out of the sewing maching too, bah!!

I tried to make some fused plasic bags once into a shopper bag, but all I managed to do was nearly kill myself from the fumes & the results were just crap, I was most disappointed Happy
