Craft Disasters (thunder sound)

Ok, we all love crafts, but if you are like me, things can get ugly. I think I learned curse words from watching my mom sew! lol

On a daily bases I call my Bette (My sewing machine) a stupid whore. And I don't usually swear or curse. If its not one thing its another especially if I really want to make something special for someone or its really expensive fabric. LOL

Just today I went to bake some polymer clay pendants. When I pulled them out they were solid black!! The temperature was supposed to be 275 and I had it on 375 *rolls eyes*. Luckily it was only five of them, but I was still dissapointed b/c they had turned out really good and I was excited to finish them. Happy

Sewing can be really frustrating sometimes, not only do I have to contend with how tempermental my sewing machine can be but also my serger is a whiney beeoch too! Then also I get irritated with trying to mod a pattern to fit my DD rack while still complementing my size 9 body. I made a whole dress a couple weeks ago only to discover when I did the final try on tha I accidentally serged 1in out of the left side of the top, and did i have extra fabric...NOPE! And did I write down all the mods to the pattern...NOPE!!! POOP! So I took it up to be much smaller and my daughter will get it for xmas...oh well!

I had to take my son and some mates surfing early one winters morning so I took my embroidery with me. I sat in the car and worked on it while they surfed and had it resting on my knee and managed to sew the piece to my jeans Happy

Years ago, I was having my first attempt at making trousers and I made two left legs. I had no more of the fabric cos it was a piece I'd bought at a jumble sale.
My main problem with sewing is sewing creases in or sewing things closed, like sleeves or something. I can use language then that would make a sailor blush lol
