Costume (please help)

My dad just got laid off... Any ideas on how I could make money for my Halloween costume? My parents won't be able to pay for it... They don't even know how they're going to pay the bills! I really want this costume! I need to make like $40-$50.
I really need a good idea!

is there any way you can reconstruct one with what you have already? I cant really think of easy way to get cash unless you donate plasma or blood...which is spooky with it being halloween. lol

You could be Mother Nature
Buy yourself some fake flowers and leaves and use an old shirt and shirt and hot glue the flowers and stuff on them... Get one of those small mask that just covers up your eyes and nose a little and put some flowers on that also. Kinda like this how-to http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/poison_ivy_costume

what did you want to be? and what costume? if your heart is set on buying one then i have some coupons, I am part of some fan club thing for a costume store.

I suggest like the other guys to try and make yourself something similar, not only will it be cheaper but it will also be unique.
However, if you really want that one then what I usually do to make some quick money is call everyone I know and do a personal bottle drive. Last time I made 60 bucks. Also, since it is getting into fall I'd ask around if anybody has any odd jobs like firewood cutting/stacking or yard raking.

Well you could always do cheesy ones like an ipod or hell on wheels. Any idea what you wanted to be? There could be a very easy way to make itHappy
