Old Leggings

Hey, i have a pair of old leggings which i barely ever wear. they're pretty much brand new, i just have nothing that goes with them. they're a navy blue colour with bright coloured paint splattered effect.

what can i make out of them, or do with them so they're not a complete waste of money...

any ideas will be appreciated and i admit i haven't actually looked through projects to see if there are any suggestions on here already. :3

You could turn them into armwarmers, legwarmers, or any other kind of garment that requires a bit of stretch.
Or you could crop them and hem them into exercise/cycling shorts. I did that with a pair of comfy grey leggings I had that didn't match anything else in my wardrobe.

Why not try for a tight armed shrug? Now that you've given me the idea, I may have to try it!

ooooh, exercise shorts is a good idea. i might try that. i haven't even tried them on for a couple of years, so hopefully they still fit! haha.

i could try the mittens with what i chop off!

not really a fan of things being tight on my arms, to be honest, but the shrug was a good idea otherwise!

thanks guys! Happy

Also you could make leg warmer - I've used them in the past to make breaking in my DMs a bit more comfortable. I've also made phone cases from leggings in the past too as the stretchy material makes a nice and cosy fitting case.

i was actually thinking about phone cases and a swim suit from them! haha.

i'm going on a surf holiday in september so a swim suit would be pretty cool! i'll maybe have a bash at that, thanks Happy
