How to Sew a Top Hat?

Hello everybody. Once again it seems i am looking for another sewing pattern or tutorial. I've decided to dress up as a circus ringmaster for halloween . ( Kinda like the costume the lead singer from panic at the disco wore in the " I write sins not tragdies" music video) . I was wondering if anybody knew how-to, or could find a pattern on how to make a top hat. I have looked every where and can only find ways to make those tiny top hats for headbands and stuff.Thanks in advance for the help once again.

I was going to make this and got all the pieces measured and cut out but then started packing stuff up ready for moving so it got packed. I'm not making it with the lacing though, and it will be purple velvet with a purple lining - can't wait=)
