Handmade Paper

I've recently become addicted to handmaking paper - it's just so awesome! But i'm not sure how to make it really thin... you know, like the paper that comes from nepal that i guess is made out of some kind of reed? I'm going for that thin sort, but the stuff i make always comes out pretty thick. Any ideas? And does anyone else make paper? I'd love to see some pictures! Happy

you hang on to it and then decide to part with it (not just paper) and then you finally need it! I just did that with a load of cardboard Happy I was gonna make handmade paper for my harry potter prequel book but didn't think it would make it through the printer.

yea, I used to make paper LIKE CRAZY, I loved it. And I wanted to make thin paper as well, and I never got like, printer paper thin, but what I would do to make it as thing as I could, I used this weight I had, it was a little bigger than paper, and I just put that onto the wet shreds.

and yea...

BUTyou know whats fun, putting differnt herbs and smells in it!!!

I had this orange citrusy smelling hair gel that my little cousin left, and I put a BUNCH of that into this huge batch of the pulp to be paper, and it was awesome!

AND, I even sometimes put leaves and sticks all ground up into it. Its fun Happy

I love the idea of putting leaves and stuff in! My friend bought me this cool little journal from Nepal and the paper is so beautiful, I don't want to use it!
