What to do with buttons???

I have SOOOOO many buttons, and I wanna do something really really cool with them. I like to make jewelry, but not so much into the button jewelry thing, unless it looks really punky.

Any ideas?

Spruce up old shirts or other items that you think are a little boring? Or if you have any shirts with plain buttons and you have some really cool ones replace them? I did that with some rainbow buttons I had and a lot of people thought it looked really cool.

Saw these really cool leggings online once with buttons all over them. You could sew them or glue them to make it take less time, lolz. Will try to find the link...

Oh they were tights, but you can prolly do leggings, too, or buy a cute pair of colored (or normal colored, whatever) tights. And I bet they'd look insanely cool with a bunch of random sized buttons.

You can glue them on a pictureframe.

You could decorate a lampshade or some other household item. Or a headband. Or you know the hanging bead doorway things you could do something like that but with buttons
