Fiddling with Flounces!

Hello CutOutNKeepers! I'm looking for help, tips and or tricks on how to draw out tiered flounces for a gown.

This is a link to the dress I am trying to recreate.

I have an idea for where to start when creating the flounces but would love for your crafty ideas. Any help would be super appreciated!
Thanks!

Lots and lots of big circles! Each tier looks like a circle skirt that had the holes cut in different places. The longer parts at the bottom look like they'd be more oval in shape, almost.

ooh thanks! I'm on the right track then! I'm thinking I'll just measure the circumference of sections of the dress from the waist to the floor, and use that for the size of my circles....this....is going to take a LOT of fabric ;)

Yeah, it's going to take a ton of fabric no matter how you make it, but that's the nature of the dress style you're recreating.

What kind of fabric will you be using?

Organza and satin for the dress....think I'll be ordered the next batch online Happy
