What to do with clothes you've outgrown

How about making a dress out of them? You said they don't have much stretch left right? You could sew an old cami onto an old skirt and then sew a zip onto the back. A great way to sew on a zipper for a person new to sewing is to sew it RIGHT ON to the dress and cut the fabric beneath it open. You end up with a really edgy look. You would have to use fray chek (or a different product) to minimize and eliminate any fraying on the raw edge. You can use clear nailpolish for this too.
OR make a plush animal out of them. I LOVE plushies!

I would check out this book: Generation T. It has several ways to redo old t-shirts. ^_^
