Featured Projects

I have this little daydream every so often that I'll log on one day and find my project is the featured one Happy I was wondering if any of you who has had one of their projects featured has had a feeling before they posted it that it was a bit special. You sometimes hear artists and bands say that they had a feeling that they'd written a hit/number 1 or whatever... Just me having a silly girly moment Happy

i've had two tutorials that were featured. The first one i just kinda threw together because it was seasonal and i wanted to share it in time for the holiday. it was a very happy surprise to see my "spring snack" on the home page Happy then the second one i worked really hard on and thought it was a great quality project with clear instructions and photos- yea kinda had that feeling like "this would be a cool co+k feature" !!! i still get a kick out of when someone favorites one of my projects or when i have a new friend request. I enjoy co+k sooooo much- haha i feel like such a dork!

I love it too when someone favourite something I've done. Even if I'm checking my email just before heading to bed I have to check it and see what they've favourited Happy

Hi ArtyKit Kat I've had some of my how to's featured. I never know how my projects are going to do. Some that I really liked making haven't had much interest. Don't think there is any way to say what's going to be popular, unless it's a plushie....Lol. It's always nice to know people appreciate the effort I've made to post projects

I am also addicted. ;) I haven't done any how-tos, though, because I don't want to have to go through the trouble of taking photos of the process when I could be IN the process, lol. :-D It would be nice if they featured both creations and how-tos.

I know what you mean about the taking photo's of the process for the how to's. My lot had to wait a bit longer for their stir fry & rice one night...Lol Happy

Im addicted too.Im on here almost all day...Happy
I had some feelings about some of my projects,but never had any featured.And I agree with Sheila,I had some favorite project that I enjoyed making but they havent had much interest.And my pictures are crappy too,but now i got a new camera!yay!Happy

The ones I had featured I had no idea it would happen. It seems like all the projects I really like only get faved like 2 times. LOL. You never know what people will like or not like.

I'm terrible at taking photos of the process too. The most recent how to I did I'd actually made twice before and forgot to take pics and I could of kicked myself cos I had every intention of putting it on as a how to. I love seeing what people come up with on here. I think all the things I've put up have been pretty spontaneous and made from bits and bobs I had around the flat already. I think the only thing I've actually set out to make way my furry bag which I put up on here but that took forever to get to a point where it was usable. I could still do with adding more pockets inside Happy I think I started making it about 2 years ago. I think I got thinking about this cos I'm coming up to my year aniversary here and I'm as addicted as I was a year ago when I joined Happy
