freezer paper?

hey guys. i love all these creations all of you do with freezer paper but i have no idea what that is and i really wana try some of the "how to's" involving it. i live in south africa, i dont know if we have that... it sounds alot like wax wrap... if anyone knows, could you please tell me what it is... or post a picture of what the actual paper looks like(not the box) or describe it or something... pretty please?

Well of course it's the stuff that you wrap meat in when freezing it, it's white and shiny on one side and dull on the other. I have never known any other brand to make it besides Reynolds and may be also called freezer wrap.

If you can't find it anywhere, try asking your local butcher for some or where to get it.

good question i have been wondering the same thing.. wax paper is shinny and dull is it the same thing?

Nope, unfortunately its not, wax paper is shiny on both sides actually. I think freezer paper only comes in white, not clear like wax paper, but it's definitely not the same.

i must be thinkin wax paper is something else i thought wax paper was white lol hmm. weird
