How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I was searching for sewing techniques and found CO+K. There were so many projects I wanted to try so I joined. Later I started posting some projects of my own. I think the community here is very friendly. I also like the project versions because it is always interesting to see how a project looks in another pattern or color.

What projects are you currently working on?

I’m working on a daily affirmation quote which will be on my bathroom walls.

What does your craft space look like?

My craft space looks super clean, only for the moment until I snap the photos. Usually it is like any crafters’ space, with projects on all available table tops. My kids are free to use my craft supplies, so sometimes it looks like my supplies closet has exploded!

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

The sewing machine is the winner.

What do you craft along to?

I tend to get obsessive with a couple of songs and will listen to it in a continuous loop until I drive everyone crazy. Current obsession is Bright Eyes’ “First Day of My Life” and “Easy, Lucky, Free”.

Favorite Craft

I like to make clothing from Japanese dressmaking books. It’s like a giant piece of puzzle. Once figured out, I get to wear it too! Home decorations are also one of my favorites.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would like to try woodworking. There’s something about using the drill and the hammer that level-ups a project’s satisfaction.

Who are your crafting heroes?

I don’t have a particular hero, but people who think out of the box and people who can take everyday objects and turn them into works of art are very inspiring to me.
