i actually made this as an assignment for year 12 art... i got 2m of callico and cut out the shapes for arms, legs, body and head. then i sewed the arms and legs to the body. i got approx 1km of electric blue wool for the hair which i knotted one end threadded in onto a needle and sewed in into the head. i hand sewed the face and painted the 'injuries'. um... then i sewed the head on and it took me about an hour to pull the hair back through the neck :/ but it was worth it :)

You Will Need

Step 1cut out the shapes for arms and legs

sew the arms and legs to the body and sew around it, leaving the neck and a space in the side unsewn (for stuffing and sewing the head on

sew the head up, again leaving the neck open

cut the wool into the length you want the hair. thread it into a wide-eyed needle, knot one end and sew the hair on

once you've done all the hair, i sewed the eyes and mouth on, but painted everything else

sew the head to the body

'stuff' it :) and sew up the hole in the side by hand

find him (or her) some clothes
