Shibori wrap technique makes the perfect zebra pattern
I've got to admit that I have a real thing lately for wild animal prints and decided to try a zebra pattern.
It's a natural for a shibori-wrap dye project. With this traditional Japanese technique, resist is created by wrapping, tying and scrunching fabric on a PVC pipe. When dyed, this leads to natural-looking striations and patterns à la our famous friend, Monsieur Zebra. Pretty darn clever, n'est pas?
