This little project is the perfect way to use up whatever paint you might have lying around the house!
I am probably going to make about a thousand more of these in every conceivable color. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever actually wished that I owned glitter because I think that would really take these little pins to the next level. They’re just the perfect cute little pop of color and personality. I love little things like this because they manage to brighten even dull boring days.

You can glue your pinback to your heart before or after, but doing so before will give you something to hold on to when you’re painting so that your fingers don’t get so dirty.

Then you just paint whatever shape it is that you have. I actually recommend doing upwards of two coats just because these wooden hearts had a lot of texture that I didn’t want to show through. Luckily the paint was very shiny so it deflects a lot.

Once the paint has dried you are done and you can pin it to whatever article of clothing that you would like. I might add mine to my kawaii vest.
