The wire is slightly shiny but it was mostly the light. My camera Has a super bright flash. Thank you all for the nice comments. I gave this to my best friend and she absolutely loved it.

I was walking around my complex looking for a stone to put the tree on and I saw that painted wood block. I said ohhh well that's convenient.
