A versitile and decorative stand

They can be used for to display many things:

•cakes/cupcakes
•fruit
•lollies
•jewelry
•nic-nacs
•and where ever your imagination takes you

  1. 1

    Saw your dowel into four pieces of equal height!
    The height will depend on how tall you wish your stand to be.
    Further it doesnt have to be exact (see next step)

    Using PVA glue fix all four peices of dowel together to create a column. Once the glue has dried you can use sand paper to level the column.

  3. Step 3 3

    Using a drill create a hole in the centre of both MDF circles and fix the dowel in place. I used a mirror for my lower base so I simply removed the mirror and drilled through the backing.

  4. Step 4 4

    We can now prime the entire stand with two coats and at leat 2 coats of the paint of your choice. I used a metallic craft paint so multiple layers were necessary.

  5. Step 5 5

    And it is now ready for use!
