You can repurpose those nice sturdy gift boxes that housed the gifts you've received. If you have the habit of throwing out boxes after opening its contents, you will surely change your mind when you learn this craft.

Step 1Grab some sturdy cardboard boxes.

Step 2Draw any fruit you like using pencil on the front of the box. For this tutorial, I drew a pineapple.

Step 3Use an X-acto knife or craft knife to slice away some parts of your fruit outline.Be strategic, though, cut only the outline that will still hold the pineapple in place.

Step 4Trace the outline with a black marker pen.

Step 5cut up some colored construction paper. Cut it in a size that could make it fit through the inside of the box.

Step 6
Apply glue all over the edge of the construction paper and insert it through the box where you have made the fruit cut out. Press it in so the paper is glued to the box.

Step 7The process will be the same whatever fruit you want to make. Here are my tropical fruit boxes.
